CHALLIS, Idaho (KBOI) — An Idaho girl who went missing back in 1993 will have her story be told on national television.
Stephanie Crane of Challis was last seen at the Challis Lanes Bowling Alley on Oct. 11, 1993. Reports differ when recounting whether Stephanie was heading to her home that was only 500 yards away, or if she was heading to the high school to watch soccer practice.
She hasn't been seen since.
On Sunday, Crane's story will be told on "Disappeared" on the Investigative Discovery Channel on Sunday at 6 p.m.
Stephanie was 4 feet 2 inches tall, between 65 and 85 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes at the time of her disappearance. Stephanie's parents died from natural causes in 1997 and in 2012, both without knowing what happened to their daughter.
The Custer County Sheriff's Office says it continues to work Stephanie's case.
